There is shore diving as well as from a boat, most of the best diving is from the boat. Lots of wrecks, as well as a town or parts of it underwater.

Campsite Point has shore dives that allows dives on a couple of small boat wrecks as well as a submerged school bus and overturned van. Inside the cove you can find a buoyancy course and schools of bass and blue gill.

I’ve had 23 shore dives from Cabinsite Point, and one from Katherine Landing. Water clarity is usually 20’ +, best during fall and winter. My favorite time to dive is in the fall when water is still warm and air is not too hot. I’ve visited the wrecks of a boat, a van and a bus from Cabinsite point. It’s a good place to meet divers from Flagstaff, Phoenix, Las Vegas and even California. Biggest annoyances are the jet skiers on weekends during summer appearantly a number of them are ignorant or just don’t care about boating rules of the road and diver-down flags.
