Hello, my name is Brent and I have been diving for over 3 years now. I first got interested in diving from my grandfather. Growing up and hearing his stories of the trips to the keys made me think, "this sounds like a fun and interesting hobby." So, I lived in Little Rock and decided I would go ahead and get certified. I went through the classes and open water dives and was instantly hooked. Two months after my certification my family went on a cruise to the Bahamas and I had a chance to dive with Stuart Coves in Nassau. After being spoiled by the 50+ ft viz and warm waters, I knew I had to have more. I then moved to North Carolina and began looking for a new dive home. I found The Dive Shop in Claremont, NC and began taking specialty courses. The next thing I know I am officially a divemaster and cannot wait to get started with the IDC. So, on June 27, 2010 I passed the IDC and IE with Rainbow Reef in Key Largo, FL and have been teaching since. The sky is the now the limit.
If you are looking for a great place, I cannot say enough great things about RRDC in Key Largo!
