How are you doing??
Greg - 6 hours 45 minutes ago.
Doing pretty well. Thanks for asking. We moved to the Austin TX area. Lots going on so we’re staying pretty busy.

Thinking of you, Greg, during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you.
Feece - 5/03/2014 9:12 PM
Y do my photos upload sideways??? Thx
Greg - 5/04/2014 10:53 AM
Because your photos are sideways before you upload them. If you are using a mobile device, sometimes it’s hard to tell if your photos are sideways because you can just rotate your device.

Need help choosing between regs. Aqua lung legend lx or atomic b2. I’m new to diving and just see that your the most active member and seem really experienced. Where i live in Mississippi there are very few divers and one little dive shop. And just would like to pick your brain
Greg - 4/25/2014 2:55 PM
I am probably the most active member because I own DiveBuddy.com :) Post this question in our Forum so others can help answer. I don’t have experience with either one of those regs. Both are made by great companies though so I’m sure either one would be great.

And btw, don’t publish questions in the Articles section...that’s a place for education articles and other stuff like blogs. For questions you want others to help answer, use the Forum section.

Sorry about that new to the site and it’s guidelines and thank you

At the end of the movie, Into The Blue, it says 6 billion dollars worth of treasure still exists in the ocean, waiting to be found. How do they know that? Is there some list of sunken ships and the loot they carried?
Progrower - 4/11/2014 6:00 PM
I think they base it on known wrecks and then add a little for unknown. I think that number is way low as with new technology we find wrecks with articfacts that I would consider worth at least that.
diver69420 - 4/25/2014 1:39 PM
ur absolutely right. i think that is based on wrecks as you said. And they throw in a little razzle dazzle. but how awesome is that

If jobs are available, they are posted in the Jobs category in the Forum.

I just fixed an issue with the Facebook Login on the website...it should work fine now.
asiantinman - 1/11/2014 10:56 PM
Any chance of adding a Sort by Last Login Date filter for the Member Search?
UWnewbee - 1/11/2014 10:59 PM
There is a last logon date on the members profile IF they choose to have it visible
asiantinman - 1/11/2014 11:03 PM
Well I’m saying this because it’s kind of pointless to Search for Members, only to find out their last login date was like two years ago.
Greg - 1/11/2014 11:49 PM
A lot of memers just use divebuddy to list themselves so others can send them a message to go diving, and they do not login often.
asiantinman - 1/12/2014 12:08 AM
Yes, but see, when I’m looking for members to message, I’m not going to message someone that hasn’t logged in in over a year or two(because they may not get the message). That’s why I asked about this filter, so that I could use the Search Functions to see who’s somewhat active.

Members will still get your message, they receive an email when you message them. They dont need to log into the site at all to receive messages. They can also reply to your message directly from their email. So I wouldnt put to too much faith in the last login date to determine whether or not you should send them a message.
Greg - 1/12/2014 6:22 AM
If you are looking for a member that will reply to a buddy request and be active on DiveBuddy with you, then the last login and DB Activity Number is good data to look at.
