Experienced Diver but have not been active in recent years - looking to get back into it but do not have a buddy and am not familiar with the NJ dive spots. Just got my tanks hydro’d this month (Aug 2011) and all my equipment checked out so I would like to do a few easy shake down dives to really test everything out before doing anything more advanced.
Certified by Naui in 1980, advanced certification by Naui in 1981, advanced cert by PADI in 1984, Rescue diver cert by PADI in 1992.
Most of my diving has been in Maine, California and Hawaii since those were the places I have lived most of my life.
I have multiple complete sets of dive gear so it’s not a problem if a potential buddy does not have their own equipment - however I do not have a boat, and since moving to NJ I no longer have a compressor so I’ll be relying on dive shops for air fills.
