Hi there! I am just getting back into diving after eight years out of the water. I recently went back to San Diego where I was originally certified, met up with my Basic and Nitrox instructor and he took me out on a couple of shore dives and I have the bug again.

I have most of my certifications though Naui (Master diver as well as Nitrox). I am also certified Nitrox with TDI. I need to list those here as well (have to dig up my c-cards for the information needed). Most of my experience is in San Diego and the Pacific although I made one dive off Virginia Beach and did some diving in the Bahamas as well. I have 127 dives logged (can’t find where to put that in the profile, although I see some people have that listed). I know there are some diving cultural differences between the coasts, so I will have to learn the ways of the East Coast.

I marked my skill as proficient... but I should add that I am also "rusty."

I hope to start diving again in the spring. I need to update some of my equipment and I want to take a refresher course and the NAUI HelitroxDiver course (I want to do technical diving and want to start down that path). So it will probably be a few months before I am back in the water for good. But when that time comes, I will need a buddy! Plus, I would like to be in the dive community in Northern Virginia, so I am here looking for like minded divers. I hope to meet some great divers soon!
