Finally, 17 years after his Rescue course he updates his divebuddy profile with his extra dives. Just yanking your chain. Congratulations.

I introduced John to diving. As for his blog, I just want to add that John dives with the skill of someone who has 20+ dives. His bouyancy control is A+ and he is almost anal about the safety stop at 15 to 20 ft. Trust me when I say he was ready for 100+. I know that the dive shop that taught me took me to 100 ft on my 5th dive. It is more a matter of comfort level, skill level, and who you are diving with. Go easy on the old boy, he loves scuba diving, and I know the diver that took him to 100 ft. I know him real well, he wouldn`t let anything happen to his buddy.

I to see it as a money thing. But I like to dive charters in South Fl. So you have to have a advanced Card to get on the good dives. So I did it. I love to dive. My daughter and I learned in the pool in the back yard with a CD from Padi. After we did it for a week we hired a instructor. He came to the house and we did it went out on his boat and did some more. Five dives in two days plus pool so 3 days. Next SDI solo and Padi Rescue.

I think that I was misunderstood. I did not mean it to sound like I was against the dive . I will clarify my statement in the blog.
