Looking for buddies for New England shore/boat diving. I enjoy photography, metal detecting and just plain blowin’ bubbles!

I’m all about diving within one’s comfort zone – and expanding that comfort zone through training. I’m not interested in pushing time or depth limits or my own physical abilities.

I started diving at 14, when my family lived in Hawaii. My first instructor was a tough ex-UDT diver, Denis Kirwan. I eventually moved back to Massachusetts and became certified as an instructor in college, but as I got busy with work and family, I didn’t dive much until my son got certified. We dive as often as we can, but now he’s getting too busy – so it goes.

I also enjoy sailing. I have a 30’ sailboat, which is just about the worst dive boat ever created. I’m hoping to add a center console dive boat to my collection someday.
