Hi... my name is Skip. I had always wanted to get my SCUBA certs ... just never had the time or the money (or had the $ at the same time as I had the time???). Anyway... got my OW in July 2009. Finished my Nitrox. Finshed my Advanced in August. I am a NAUI accredited First Aid/CPR/AED/O2 Instructor... so, if you need your certification and are in the Houston area, let me know! I got my PADI Rescue Diver in Feb 2011 and just completed my PDIC Dive Supervisor certification!

True... only been diving since the summer of ’09... but, as of 5-11-12, have 147 dives! (Can you say, "Hooked!" - no pun intended). 

Have been to Cozumel, the Bahamas (on a liveaboard), Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, Tortola, Turks & Caicos, St. Thomas, Key West, Moorea, Rangiroa, Raiatea, Bora Bora, etc. 

My beautiful wife, Cindy, and I travel a couple of times per year and would love to meet up and dive... mainly because I can’t talk her into taking the class. HOWEVER, our youngest just got her OW certification! I am so thrilled for her.

Finally... I am also ordained as a non-denominational Pastor... and, as such, can officate weddings (or Renewal of Vows!).  Looking for dive buddies in southeast Texas... and beyond.

I just got my OW in July.  I’ve got 8 logged dives and am totally addicted to this sport, I never knew I could have so much fun.  I have been looking for a buddy since my certification, no luck so far.
