Hey RockRat, I was wondering if you still knew who to ask to get a key for Jeff’s Quarry? I live right down the road and would love a spot to dive loacally. Thanks in advance.

When it warms up a little I’ll see about meeting you out there and showing you around. :-)

Awesome! Thank you so much! Feel free to message me when you’re available. I literally live 10 minutes down the road.

I saw you’ve been to Mermet Quarry in Illinois. I’ll be going soon...
RockRat2008 - 7/09/2014 10:00 AM
Yeah, one of my favorite quarries to dive.
zoomonkey - 7/09/2014 10:01 AM
I’m taking advance class there next weekend. Night dive included. I’m going to try to sign that geocache they have in the plane there if I have a chance...
stldiver - 7/09/2014 3:48 PM
Good luck with that. It is a cool place to dive.
Vandy12 - 5/16/2014 8:52 AM
Little chilly for me at this time but I will surely shoot you email when the weather warms
a bit and we can go out and play in the quarry. I don’t do drysuit. I’m pretty spoiled usually
diving in tropical climates.
RockRat2008 - 5/16/2014 8:58 AM
LOL ... I don’t drysuit either but am just crazy enough to dive the winter months in a 7mm full anyway. Look forward to hearing from you when it warms up some.

I am in Lascassas and dive every summer at Martha’s Quarry. I’ve been to many places including
Turks and Caicos, Coz, dived just about every wreck in the Keys, Cayman Brac, etc.

I bought a boat and it sucked all my dive trip money away for two years, but I’m getting back into
the groove in September and will leaving to go somewhere for at least a weekmaybe twoon September 14. My philosophy is if you have over 200 ocean dives and have not gotten killed
you have passed the dive test. Maybe we can hook up at Martha’s sometime to meet? Oh, and sometimes I go up to Pennyroyale too. See ya.
RockRat2008 - 5/16/2014 4:41 AM
Sounds good; I like Pennyroyal better than Martha’s just for the amenities on site but am certainly open to diving Martha’s for a meet up sometime.

Just realized how close we are. Will definitely have to get together for some dives.

Soon, I hope to develop a membership page and I plan on building in features that only Lifetime Members have access to (like the ability to send bulk messages to top X members from the search page...OR...highlighted profile on Scuba Earth).
