I continue to be amazed at what you can get in a dive light (torch) for the dollar now. I got a CREE T6 single LED with rechargeable battery, 1800 Lumens (really about 1550 measured) with magnet switch, 5 light modes, double O rings for $29.00 delivered. The light is 5500 to 6000 kelvin and makes great video. I have ordered a 3 CREE T6 one that puts out about 4000 Lumens for $39.00. People make their own plastic diffusors for video out of various things. They make these in up to 7 LED models. Has anyone been playing with them. I have been using a bicycle bar mount to attach the light below a GOPRO and using a bolt snap secured to the light to hold onto it.

Nice video. I have not seen any of the gopro where they use the green muck filter. What settings did you use as far as resolution and frame rate?

I just noticed that this is the first week Clear Springs will be open on Friday. One of those things, I want to try.

You’ll have the park to yourself. The vis is the best because it has four days with no divers stirring it up.

I am going to be at CSSP bright and early Sunday. My goal is finding the sailboat and putting a temporary surface float on it.

Good idea.

Let’s just hope those are not some piranha / blue gill hybrids. Can’t go to okie this weekend but a trash pickup is a great thing. It’s such a beutiful area.

Btw: what is the apx. Depth and location of the sailboat at CSSP?

Do you know if you going to clear springs on the 20th, I could use a dive buddy. Trina :)

Everyone is welcome! Trina, you’re going to have like 20 dive buddies :) Our group, plus a big group from San Antonio is meeting there together. It will be fun!

Thanks Greg. This is my first dive gathering and not too sure how it works. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and making new dive friends
