New diver! Just completed my open-water certification (August 2012). The help and encouragement of this forum, and the extraordinary dive masters at Underwater Connection in Delafield, Wisconsin helped me over come a 46 year old fear.

Awesome! The dog held it’s breath for like 20 seconds and dove to over 9ft get fetch a rubber duck. I wonder if dogs ears are more affected by pressure than humans?

Thank you for accepting my buddy request. Let me know if you ever want to go diving. My husband isn’t interested in diving and I’m looking for a dive buddy who wants to dive locally. I also worked with the Underwater Connection in Delafield....love those guys!!

Hey Linda... I’m in the same situation. My Husband isn’t interested either, so having someone local would be fantastic. Just so you’re aware, I’m just newly certified, so where to go diving in the area is a mytstery to me. If you have someplace in mind, I’m certainly willing to try. Have you been diving long? The UWC folks are amazing... I agree, I love those guys too.
